My speedboxes are compatible with the Tenways CGO600, CGO600 Pro, CGO800S, and CGO009 models.

Yes! Installation takes about 1 to 30 minutes depending on the bike and choosen method. Check out the installation page for your specific bike to get started! 🔧

To activate the Speedbox on the CGO600, CGO600 Pro, and CGO800S, simply enable the Walk Assist mode by pressing down the arrow button. Keep in mind that you'll need to activate the Speedbox each time you turn on your bike—but don’t worry, it quickly becomes second nature! By default, the Speedbox remains inactive until manually switched on.

For the CGO009, the activation method is slightly different. Check out the installation page for detailed instructions. 🚀

Higher speeds may reduce battery range, as the motor provides more assistance. However, you are quicker from A to B. 😉

Please be aware that using modified electric bikes, such as those with a Speedbox or a Smoothway speedmodule, on public roads may be illegal in some countries. These modifications are strictly prohibited on public roads, cycling paths, and public places, and should only be used on private property, entirely at your own risk. Additionally, using a Speedbox or the Smoothway speedmodule may void your e-bike's warranty. Smoothway does not accept liability for any warranty loss, property damage, or harm resulting from the use of the Smoothway speedmodule.

Yes, the Speedbox can be uninstalled at any time, restoring your e-bike to its original settings.

No, the Speedbox only alters the speed limit. All other e-bike features remain fully functional. Accept for the walk assist mode. This is used to activate the speedhack.
